What is Anxiety? What are the Symptoms of Anxiety?

Anxiety is a feeling of fear and worry for which the exact cause is unclear. Anxiety can affect the individual both physically and psychologically. Most people may feel anxious or scared before important events in their lives. For example, a deadline, an exam, health, finances, friends and family. These are natural feelings that are to be expected. However, if a person feels anxious and fearful to the extent that it affects their quality of life even after the event is over, this can be seen as a problem.

Anxiety is necessary when it is at a normal level, it enables the individual to cope with daily problems, keeps them alert and makes them feel ready for certain situations, but if it is excessive, it can negatively affect the individual's life, reducing their quality of life and making them feel uncomfortable in their social and personal life.

An anxiety disorder is when the feeling of anxiety manifests itself in the absence of danger, persists for a long time and is felt very strongly, in which case treatment is necessary. Anxiety disorder is among psychological disorders. This problem, which affects a large part of the society, can reach the level of a disease when it increases more. Anxiety disorder, which is extremely tiring and reduces the quality of life, can be treated.

People with anxiety are often aware that they feel the anxiety they experience intensely, but they are not aware of it themselves.
